Music is an important aspect of my life. I am always listening to music. When I am at work, I will have my earphones plugged in. Someone once told me that I act sane because of music. That is why I thought to share 20 songs on my playlist.
Before I do share the songs though, I wanted to expound more on my love for music. Creatively, I rely on music. I would lie if I said some of my poetry has not been influenced by the songs I listen to. Even when I am blogging, I need music to be playing so I can concentrate.
Back in the day, people thought I was a playful student cause I studied with music on. But, there is something about music that just drowns you in a different world where you’re the only one. The breathing matches that of the beat. In a weird way, you are in unison.
Music connects with us in so many ways. It helps us during our days of sadness, we dance to it when we are happy. There is even music for when you are feeling meh.
I would say I love a lot of the genres, but the one that is always close to my heart is Alternative R ‘n’ B. So, do not be surprised of the playlist. The 20 songs in my playlist are those that are the most played of the month. I wish I could break them all down to why I love them, but that would be so much of work. I will attach my Deezer playlist for easy listening. My apologies, I could not make a Spotify account to make on there as well.
